Low Moor (Proposed new N gauge layout)

A proposal for a new Club N layout to supplement the existing Dewsbury Midland layout.

A printable version in .doc format of this can be downloaded here

Low Moor station was situated at the junction between two main lines, the closed Spen valley line and the surviving Bradford - Halifax line. There were also connections to local industry notable Low Moor ironworks and a long since closed branch to Dudley Hill.
It was also  one of the last major steam sheds in the West Riding.

With the 5 platform station, two signal boxes,  a triangular junction, a large number of sidings and a 24 road steam shed some compromise will have to be made to produce a sensibly sized model and the proposal is to concentrate the model mainly on the station and half the engine shed.
