anyone 11 and over with an interest in the hobby whatever their level of skill

Sunday 8th February 2015:-
The club has some exciting news as a new project is underway down
at the clubroom. More news and photos will be to follow as the
project gets underway.
Sunday 1st February 2015:-
The picture above shows our amazing new clubroom ready for usage,
with layout Fryup (009 Gauge) created by clubmember Chris Towers and
late Father some 30 years ago still standing strong and operating as
it should. It is up undergoing maintance for its first outing back
on the exhibition circuit in 5 years, where it will go on show in
Lincoln at the ened of this month (28th Feb & 1st March).
Sunday 18th January 2015:-
We are now underway to get back into our clubroom. The kitchen
cuboards are being constructed and installed with the reset of the
applliances being fitted soon. Plans for the exhibition are also
underway as it draws closer to the the dates with final details
being finalised and production plans are to start over the coming
weeks. As above ^ our AGM will take place TOMORROW!
Wednesday 14th January 2015:-
The new clubroom floor has now been laid and is looking smart. As
a result of this, with a few more things to complete, we should be
able to move back into the room by the middle of February at the
Mon 15th Dec 2014
Very sad news is
that our President and one of the clubs founder members Donald
Swires (Member Number 3) has passed away aged 78.
Funeral at Rawdon Crematorium Wed 24th Dec 12.20.

The centre refurb seems to have ground to a halt and the club
mainly (Chris and John) is having do some of the painting so we can
hopefully move back in. Picture taken 14th Dec 14 of

The clubs Christmas diiner was held at the Silver Birch on Mon
8th Dec 2014
A 2015 exhibition draft plan has been added to the downloads
section. The club diary has been updated
Our currently vacated club room is starting to take shape with
UPVC windows, a new ceiling, LED lights and replastered walls. A new
additional boiler has been installed at the front of the Building
which hopefully may give us some heat as the previous installation
never worked. We may get in around Christmas with a bit of luck.
Victoria Raod appeared at teh Warley show on Sat Sun 22nd 23rd
Christmas Lunch 2014 wil be on Mon 8th December 7.30 at The Silver
Birch at the bottom of the M606
The webmasters latest creation before painting. GNR J52 68848 (1249 then 4249 then 8848) which was based at Bradford and finally Ardsley sheds being cut up 1959.
Oxenhope appeared at the Hull exhibition and Millfields at
Barnsley 8th 9th Nov 2014.

Grassington created a lot of attention at the Nidd Valley exhib
Pateley Bridge on 1st 2nd Nov 2014
Without use of our clubroom we are working in the entrance on
Johns new 0 gauge layout.
Exhibition page updated. Its getting very full. Peter Goss's new
Knareborough layout Worls End is huge.
Sadly the new container has been broken in to by some dimwitt
thieves who strangely thought there may be something of value in
there. Prob got less than £20 worth of old drils but sadly damaged
Victoria Road causing £100's damage to the lighting footbridge and
scenery. Club it having a repair day this Thurs night/ Frifday
and poss Sat when Vic will hopefully be erected downstairs to
ptrepare it or Warley. All help welcome.
The clubrooms are now vacated into a container whilst re-roofing
and redecoration is taking place.
Some work can be done elseware in the centre but must be returned to
the container each time.

Colyer Street N was at York and Ullapool 0 was at Redditch
Thurs 18th Sept - Club rooms just about empty and all items in
container and store exept mini kitchen.
Reroof and refub due to start first week in Oct duration 9
Club meets will probably have to held downstairs with a limited
amount of work on the layouts which will have to be returned to
storage each time. Victoria Road signalling and lights to complet
for Warley. and Titheridge out at the Graeat Elctric train show Oct.
In the longer term the contaner will be used as a level access
store to replace the small 1st floor clubroom which will be given

indicators being added to the fiddle yard panels as well as working
The signals are to be automated using modules from
http://www.blocksignalling.co.uk/ the sysem works very well on a
One Dapol semaphore signal found to be defective and returned to
Cheltenham Models who replaced it very quickly.
Packing up for the big move contiunes
- current thinking is giving up our smaller 1st floor club room for
a ground floor container. Much easier for loading.
Good and Bad news are our leaking roof is hopefully to be
replaced along with a new ceiling, floor, lights and
redecoration. Bad news is we have to move out while its being
Victoria Road has been erected for some refurbishment work before
the Warley Show. Dapol semaphore signals with IR modules from
blocksignalling.co.uk have been procured.
